Realxation

Daily Unwind

After a long day of hunting or hanging out by the pool, you can unwind and relax in our plush living area.

Taxidermy

C5 Whitetails Lodge recommends Rob Fortson of Fortson's Taxidermy and Meat Processing.  We prefer to take all of our harvested animals to Fortson's. C5 Lodge will deliver your animal to Fortson's, then we will deliver for free anywhere in Texas, and often do so in other locations for multiple mounts at a time. Otherwise, Rob will ship it directly to you at cost.

Payment for your taxidermy is to be made directly to Fortson's. C5 Whitetails Lodge does not profit from taxidermy in any way, nor are we involved in payment between hunter and taxidermist. Taxidermy is not included in the price of the hunt.  If you choose Fortson's, we simply deliver the animal to Fortson's and then deliver the finished mount to you as a free service once you have paid Fortson's for the work. If you have questions regarding the cost of taxidermy or when your mount will be complete, please contact Fortson's directly.

C5 Whitetails Lodge Cookbook

Our cookbook offers readers a true taste of Texas ranch life, inviting them to bring a bit of that warm hospitality into their own kitchens. At the center of the ranch, just like any home, is the kitchen, where stories are shared, traditions are honored, and memorable meals are made. After years of visitors asking for the recipes served around the ranch table, this thoughtfully curated collection came to life.

The pages are filled not only with flavorful dishes, but also with stunning photography of the ranch itself, capturing moments like fawning season alongside beautifully styled images of the food. The recipes celebrate hearty Tex-Mex and Southern staples rooted in the region, complemented by beloved dishes gathered from travels near and far.

A standout dessert section adds a sweet finale, featuring irresistible creations such as the raspberry chocolate tarte with an Oreo crust showcased on the cover.

Created to be cooked from often, passed around the table, and gifted with intention, this book is both a celebration of ranch living and a keepsake to treasure.
